CLAMS
Little Neck Clams - The traditional hard shell clam harvested in Long Island Sound. We offer up to eight different sizes. Packed in approx. forty pound ½ bushel cases. Available year round.
Mahogany Clams – 1x25lbs - Harvested from the deep waters off the coast of Maine. Similar to little neck clams or quohogs, differentiated by their deep mahogany colored shell. Available year round.
Manila Clams – 1x25lbs - The premier clam of the Pacific Northwest. These sweet, even cooking clams are farm raised in British Columbia. The average size is 1 ½” in diameter. Available year round.
Steamer Clams – 1x10 or 1x25lbs – Also called Ipswich or Soft-Shell Clams. The traditional item for clam bakes. Available March through November.
New Zealand Cockles – 4x10lbs – Farm raised on the coast of New Zealand. These sweet and quickly cooked clams are excellent in many preparations. |
